"I feel the need, the need for..." Clothes?

"Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society."
Mark Twain, I found the quote on my dear friend Miss Katy Hill's blog http://piratesbeware.blogspot.com/

Sometimes you pay for your mistakes, I get to literally. My husband and I purchased a used washer and dryer just before our wedding. Only monthes later they both have since died, this gives us great sorrow. Our dryer is more then likely fixable, I believe that just a belt needs replacing. Yet they there they sit idlely in our laundry room. We are very lucky to have a laudry mat in our complex and it is quite inexpensive, only 50 cents to wash and 50 cents to dry. Being the next building over it is not too big of a hassle to walk across the parking lot. Well these last few weeks we have needed to do laundry and have been too lazy and busy to go over and do it. We planned on doing it this coming Saturday, tomorrow, or my poor husband will be underwearless. I come home today planning to sort our laundry for tomorrow's events. And lo and behold there is a
notice on our door. I walked up to it to find that it was written on Wednesday informing us that the laundry mat would beclosed on Thursday for a week, only it wasn't posted on our dooor till Friday. So alas, I must find a place to wash our clothes and fork over the money that I would rather be saving. Sigh!

Note: I wrote this at the end of Janurary and have forgotten to post it until now!
